Art vs. Craft is a juried event
and it is FREE to apply. NO exceptions: Application deadline is August 24st,
2009 Applications must be submitted online. You must have digital images of your
work to apply. Incomplete or late applications will
not be considered. If accepted $110 vendor payment will
be due by September
15th You must be available from 8am-8pm on
Saturday, November 28th Work samples: Art
vs. Craft has a reputation for
showcasing new and innovative work from the Midwest and beyond. We are
looking
for quality handmade goods that push the boundaries of what you would
find at a
traditional art or craft fair. We are open to all mediums of work. We
suggest you submit a minimum of
3 images. No more than 10 images will be accepted.
Keep in mind your application is heavily
juried on the work samples submitted. Make sure to submit quality
images that
represent the work that will be for sale at the event. Websites are not a substitution for
submitting work samples
and are not required to be a vendor. Sharing
a booth: You are more than welcome to apply with another maker or as a group. Keep in mind that you will be juried as one space and all work samples will be considered. Fill out a single application for your group. There will be one main contact responsible for passing along all information to additional booth partners. Work samples must be submitted for all applying, please label the images accordingly. Note in the comment box of additional business names & websites. Acceptance: In 2008 over 350 applications were submitted. This year 55 vendors will be accepted for this event. Notifications go out the week of September 1st, 2009 via the email address on the application. We will notify everyone who submits an application of his or her status. Unfortunately, due to the amount of applications received we will do not have time to give feedback on denied applications. Thank you for understanding ahead of time. Vendor fee: Once notified of your acceptance the$110 vendor fee payment can be made by check or paypal. If payment is not made by September 15th your space will be given away. ONCE YOUR VENDOR FEE IS SUBMITTED, THERE IS NO REFUNDS. Venue

information: Last year we had over 3500 people through the doors for Art vs. Craft. We are happy to announce that round #9 of Art vs. Craft will be held for the third year at the Humphrey Scottish Rite Masonic Center. Booth sizes will be no less than 8 feet x 4 feet. Vendors will be located in three rooms in the building. Table rental will be available and details will be sent out upon acceptance. |
